Semi-Retired

"I don't want to work," she complained gently, in that perfect Dutch-accented English, "but people ask, Maaike will you take this listing? Maaike will you show this house? and I can't say no. I rent out the garden apartment for a little spare cash and company. Does Ethan want me to stock the fridge for him? What does he like to eat? Can he fix my wifi? Did he bring his bicycle? I haven't ridden one since I left Amsterdam. Oh, he brought a guitar, he can serenade me from the garden."
